In today world everyone's pc is running slower,it turned to have everyone problem now a days so i will tell some basics steps to increase performance of ur pc:
1.Install an good antivirus(paid version)
I recommend paid version because it gives maximum security and keeps ur pc safe of threats
2.Disk cleanup
Disk cleanup (cleanmgr.exe) is a computer maintenance utility included in Microsoft Windows designed to free up disk space on a computer's hard drive.
Go to MyComputer -->right click on C drive and go to properties -->click on disk cleanup
do for the rest of the drives.
3.Disk Defragmentation
Disk defragmentation describes the process of consolidating fragmented files on your computer's hard disk.
Go to start menu and type disk defragmenter.
4.Temp Files
Delete all temp files which ur pc is creating in the temp folder.
go to start --> run --> type %temp% in the box and delete all the files
5.Readyboost
If u want to increase ur speed of ur computer then readyboost is the quick and easy solution.
U can just increase ur speed with the help of pendrive,just insert ur pendrive and while the autoplay option comes click on which says something which says readyboost.
